What’s Included

Sound Gong Meditation

Sound gong meditation is a unique practice that involves using therapeutic sounds and vibrations of gongs to promote effortless relaxation and self-healing. Sound therapy has a long history of being used as an antidote to stress, participants often describe the experience as being immersed in a sea of calming sound waves.

Yoga

Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that increases physical strength, flexibility and balance. Although there are many different styles of yoga – some more vigorous than others – most involve a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility and breathing.

Laughter Yoga

Most of us agree that there’s nothing like a good laugh to lift our spirits. But there isn’t always much to laugh about, so if we wait until we have good reason to laugh, we may be waiting for some time! That is why laughing for no reason is the core philosophy of a Laughter Yoga Class.

Guided Body Scan

This involves being led/guided through a progressive relaxation practice aimed at reducing tension in the body and promoting relaxation. It often involves slowly tightening and relaxing one muscle group at a time throughout the body and/or bringing awareness to one muscle group at a time.

Meditation

Most of the time, our minds are wandering — we’re thinking about the future, dwelling on the past, worrying, fantasizing, fretting or daydreaming. Meditation is not so much about trying to stop our minds wandering etc, but rather to become aware of how often we tend to get lost in our mind’s wanderings!

Therapeutic Treatments

We offer a range of therapeutic treatments such as: one-to-one consultation with a yoga instructor, Indian head massage, back and shoulder massage, one-to-one consultations with therapist Fiona Hoban

Bedrooms

All bedrooms ensuite – king-size double, or spacious twin

Full Board

  • Evening meal served on the first day of the retreat
  • Breakfast, brunch and evening meal served daily
  • Breakfast and brunch served on the final day.

All meals are vegetarian and freshly prepared with love.
Tea, coffee & treats are also available throughout your stay.
